About Sheet Metal Workers Local 17

Local #17 was formed in 1896 so that men and women working in the Sheet Metal Industry could bargain collectively for a good day's pay with benefits for a good day's work. Through the years our union has taken the lead in the Industry, negotiating contracts that have made our members the highest paid with the best benefit package of any Sheet Metal Worker organization in all of New England. Please feel free to look through our web site and you will see that we are committed to keeping our members and our contractors educated and informed about what is happening in the always-changing Industry of the Sheet Metal Workers.
