On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Sheet Metal Workers from Local 17 teamed up with our contractors and other Building Trades members, Coviden volunteers, Brockton Youth Build and the World Champion Red Sox to give back to our Veterans at the VA Hospital in Brockton.  Veterans from Local 17 also came to help their Veteran brothers and sisters who gave so very much to all of us.  

Northern Installation will be getting the lockers to install at the pool dressing room and Local 17 will supply the manpower to install the lockers in the near future.

Rick Eckler from Helmet to Hard Hats, came with other members of the organization and helped Local 17 remove the old lockers.  Terry Francona, General Manager of the Boston Red Sox, came to thank us for our work and he was followed by other Red Sox players.  Local 17 and our contractors feel privileged and honored to give back something to our Veterans, who have given us so much.  Thank you to all our Veterans.  God Bless America and God Bless our Veterans.
