SMW 17 Hockey
Congratulations to the Local 17 Hockey Team who won the Championship of the first tournment they entered. They won both their games on Saturday, May 16th. They lost their first game on Sunday morning, May 17th, but came back to win their second game. The Championship game held Sunday evening, was an exciting game. They played to a tie against a strong Dorchester Rats team that went into overtime. Shortly into the overtime, Local 17 fired the winning goal. Hats off to the Local 17 Hockey Team for a hard won tournament. Anyone who in interested in joining the SMW 17 Hockey team, please call Ed Foley at the New Bedford Office at (508)999-0001.
