Additional benefits include:
- Annual Physical Benefit gives you $200 (up to a maximum of $600 total per family, per calendar year) just for going to your yearly check-up.
- COVID-19 Vaccination Benefit entitles members to $200 for receiving a COVID-19 vaccine (dependents can receive $100) and covers any interference with work from side effects.
- Maternity Benefit reimburses 60% of your hourly wage for up to 12 weeks if you are unable to work due to pregnancy or recent delivery.
- Benevolent relief covers SASMI members in times of extraordinary circumstances, such as floods, hurricanes, and other natural disasters.
