Vote Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards for Senate in tomorrow’s election! Polls are open from 7AM to 8PM.
Councilor Lydia Edwards is a career advocate, an ally of labor, an East Boston native, and a voice on behalf of Massachusetts’ most vulnerable populations.
As a city councilor, Edwards has led efforts to:
- protect Boston affordable housing
- rebuild public housing
- address traffic congestion
- expand water transportation
- ensure community voice in major energy projects
At Suffolk Downs, Edwards stood by labor to win a Project Labor Agreement at the largest private development project in Boston’s history. She helped to create good union jobs for a whole generation of workers and fought against worker discrimination every step of the way.
Edwards has spent her career proving herself as a trailblazer for economic democracy who is passionate about workers’ rights and Massachusetts’ vulnerable populations. We hope you join us in voting for Lydia Edwards tomorrow December 14, 2021!
